About this drive
Team Healing Himalayas focuses on maintaining the coexistence, preserving biological
diversity parks and waterfalls in and around the city. We organise regular clean-ups engaging
local communities and student groups. Usually, it’s a one day campaign inviting only locals.
In the last three years, we have organised around thirty clean-ups and various workshops.
After a rough & long winter in the Himalayas here, we are with our ground action. Happy to see participation from all around. Our first campaign of the year in 2019 starts in Shimla.
Beating pollution not only by regular cleanings but also changing lifestyle. Our habits are the key to transformation. Rejuvenating biodiversity park Potter’s Hill with stakeholders ( Students of HPU). Celebrations causing religious pollution must change. Ground action, Education and mechanisms to dispose of waste must go hand in hand.
