About this drive
Kamala Nehru Ridge is the hilly area near the Delhi University north campus which was declared a Reserve Forest in 1915. Earlier the forest cover was 170 hectares and now it has been reduced to 87 hectares. Efforts are made to preserve the area and the result can be seen. Let's not reduce our biological diversity parks into a picnic hub and excessive activities, coexistence means giving space and respect to other species as well.
